Very nice YMCA with a great pool area for kids. Small hot tub and a standard lap pool. Check the lap pool schedule before going so you don't get in during classes. First time visitors will have trouble finding the entrance as I did, due to the way the building has been added on to over the years. The staff is helpful and friendly.

My daughter and me wanted to bring two of her friends to swim laps to prep for a race, while the website indicated you need an ID and waiver what 12 year old has an ID? The elementary school does not provide school IDs. The parent had signed the waiver form. They said the guests parent must also come in person to sign them up to be guest which is not…

She asked for a pool party and Lansdale Y was great in accommodating our big party. Mr. Ian Dillard our party associate from Lansdale Y is awesome. Told over the phone it would be no problem, just have to sign a waiver. Get there, tell me THEN I have to pay money and my 11 year old daughter needs an ID to get it. What 11 year old has an ID. Ridiculous
