I have been a member at this gym for just under a year and a half. I use the child watch for my kids and love that. The people who work in the child watch are worth their weight in gold. Tom and Trevor at the front desk are great, too. There are plenty of weights and weight machines, and these always seem to be in decent condition. But, the resistance/weight area is really subpar. Old, broken equipment, poor variety , rowers that are so old they shouldn’t be used. A disgrace really.
Kim burton · 5/5 on Google · 4 months agoThis happened in 2022. My daughter was a minor and lifeguard there. You should be grateful I just found out or you would have to put up with me in person. We don’t tell lifeguards, especially our young lifeguards that they have to tolerate creepy old men harassing them. It’s not okay!! I see why you can’t keep staff!! Do better.
Lisa Jacobs · 1/5 on Google · 5 months agoCrazy to hear that Middletown got a new public pool but of course it's at a YMCA that would cost $100 a month for a family to join to swim in said "public" pool, City leaders said the project was made possible in part through American Rescue Plan Act funding from the city of Middletown.
