The first place we tried was a large center, but had no staffing to help a child struggling to adjust to daycare. TenderCare is a smaller facility, the class sizes are smaller and the staffing is great. They helped our 3 year old adjust and enjoy being at daycare. They create a warm and welcoming environment. Our child experienced distress, and we felt the response from management was not supportive of his emotional well-being. Emotional safety and respectful communication are very important in a childcare environment. We encourage parents to ask detailed questions about how behavior concerns are addressed and how children’s feelings are supported.

We have been impressed by the heartwarming tour by Khadra and her staff. I should also mention that it was a walk in notice to her, as we were in the area.
