Both my daughters went at differnt times and had a blast. It's funny because we actually hike around those parts and have driven by the entrance multiple times. Both children went as a part of a class trip for Fairview Heights, IL. Not sure what the requirements were besides the cost.

We did enjoy the tour and it seemed to fit our needs. We were told that we would be given a spot as soon as it was available, but would surely have a spot before February 2026. We paid a deposit to reserve a spot on their list. From there - radio silence. We were aware we would be lucky to get a spot before February.…
