My daughter had a wonderful time attending Montessori Academy of Temple Terrace for 2.5 years. The teachers were generous, caring, and attentive; and, they were appreciated. The curriculum is advanced but meets every child where they are. She was excited to bring her “reader” home. It pleases me to know that when she was away from home, she was being nurtured and engaged to her fullest capabilities.

We are speaking 2 languages at home and she is learning on top of English, Spanish and Chinese at school. They are helping them to draw, learn songs with them, dances. This is not, however, a Montessori accredited school, and not all Montessori principles are implemented. No mixed-age classrooms, busy work with the focus on learning how to read and write even if kids don't enjoy the work because they have a "curriculum" to follow. This school worked great for us…
