I would give Deerwood St John’s a 100/10! The entire staff is so thoughtful and caring towards the kids (and parents). In pre-K and VPK rooms, they follow curriculum to prepare kids for a kindergarten setting, while also allowing creativity and autonomy for free play. Our girls have had an amazing time there for almost two years, and we’re really looking forward to a wonderful summer camp this summer! We’re especially grateful for our teachers: Ms. Alysa, Ms. Klara, Ms. Tylor, and Ms. Ashley, and many others if I don’t get promoted. They’re all so kind, caring, supportive, and go above and beyond for their little friends!

In addition to the excellent academic prep, all of the staff are always so friendly and caring and our children love it at Deerwood. Our daughter’s VPK teacher this year, Miss Jen, has been incredible and we are so grateful for all of her hard work!

We’ve had 4 kids attend at different times starting with the toddler room, and 3 graduated from VPK. They really prepare them well for kindergarten with academic skills as well as social skills. Everything is well organized, and they go above and beyond with special art shows, events, and theme days. I highly recommend!
