Changes Affecting a License (regulation 9T)
Ensure a plan review is submitted and approval is received prior to completing any renovations or remodeling. On October 22, 2025, the administrator reached out to this specialist regarding remodeling/renovating the facility's bathrooms. This specialist informed the administrator to submit a plan review and receive approval prior to completing the bathroom renovations. A plan review was not received. During the on-site visit, it was determined that both bathrooms were renovated, including new flooring, new wall surface, and new fixtures. This was discussed and corrected when the administrator agreed to comply in the future.
Notification to OCCL (regulation 14T)
Ensure the Office of Child Care Licensing (OCCL) is called within one business day, and the caller must speak with someone, in the event a child requires outside medical or dental treatment other than any first aid provided at the center from an incident that occurs while the child is in care. On Monday, August 31, 2026, OCCL received an accident or injury report from the program via fax. The report was for a child who required outside medical treatment for a broken wrist. The incident occurred on August 25, 2026.
