Ensure the diaper-changing surface is non-porous. The diaper changing pad in the toddler bee's bathroom was observed ripped. This was corrected when the mat was replaced.

Ensure direct supervision is provided at all times. Upon arrival, this specialist observed Staff #1 and Staff #2 in the hallway. During the walk through, Staff #1 was in the Preschool Pod back classroom with a group of napping children. When asked, Staff #1 stated she stepped out of the classroom to dispose of trash and no other staff member was in the classroom. Staff #2 was in the Toddler Pod front classroom with a group of napping children. When asked, Staff #2 stated Staff #1 was in her classroom while she stepped out to get the broom and dust pan. This was discussed with staff and corrected when they agreed to comply in the future.

Ensure direct supervision is provided at all times. Upon arrival, this specialist observed one staff member supervising two classrooms of napping children in the Preschool Pod and a second staff member was observed supervising two classrooms of napping children in the Jr. Preschool Pod. This was discussed with staff and corrected when staff agreed to comply in the future.

Ensure proper staff-to-child ratios are maintained at all times. There were nine two-year-old children in the two-year-old classroom. This was discussed and corrected when one child was moved to another classroom.
